Growth from humble beginnings

Flagship Converters Inc. began in 1989 with a coating line and slitter and the intention to serve the decorative markets with garland films, ribbon films, gift-wrap, etc. We quickly expanded, and by 1993 we had built a customer base that allowed us to grow our range of services.

Beyond coating and laminating film

Our rapid growth has seen us advance our services to include:

•    Vacuum metalizing
•    Coating and laminating film (including extrusion)
•    Flexo printing
•    Texture embossing
•    Hologram embossing
•    Corona treatment
•    Slitting and traverse slitting.  

We continue to serve the decorative market, but have also expanded into providing:

• Wall coverings
• Thermal insulation and Blankets

Our founders, Michael Davies and Alan Wolfe, started with a mission of providing world-class coated and laminated film products.

Today, Flagship Converters, Inc. is employee owned and we remain committed to continuing their mission in the same tradition. We still consider it to be a ‘family business’.

We’ll continue to innovate and invest in new converting technology. This means we can engineer coated and laminated films that fulfil critical applications.
